Our Freiburg Menu

Freiburg menu at Dorint Thermenhotel

The Freiburg Menu is an initiative of Freiburg Wirtschaft Touristik und Messe GmbH & Co. KG (FWTM) – in which six local restaurateurs participate. The respective chefs create three-course menus with seasonal specialties. Every quarter there will be a new Freiburg menu. The special feature of the Freiburg Menu is the strong focus on regionality. Certain quality criteria must be met, for example, at least 70 percent of the ingredients must come from the region.

Our Freiburg Menu

Since Thursday, September 15, 2022 our new Freiburg menu is available in our restaurant Münstereck. Our chef Johannes Hug has created together with his team a three-course menu, around the seasonal specialty of the Münstertal calf.

Regional ingredients 

The special feature of the Freiburg Menu is the strong focus on regionality. There are no limits to what the chefs can do with the Freiburg Menu; the only thing to remember is that at least 70 percent of the menu’s ingredients must come from the region. In order to show the origin transparently, corresponding information is listed in the menu.
